Bridge Up watches the road bridges that open for ships on two waterways: the Welland Canal through Niagara, and the St. Lawrence Seaway around Montréal. When a freighter comes through, the bridge opens and traffic waits until it's down again, anywhere from a couple of minutes to the better part of an hour. The pages below group the bridges by area, each with its live status and how long it usually stays closed.
